Six Questions That Bring Powerful Year-End Clarity

As this year begins to wind down, I want to share a powerful end-of-year ritual I’ve practiced consistently for over ten years.
It’s a simple set of reflective questions I return to again and again—not to judge the year or rush into resolutions, but to honor what was and consciously choose what comes next.
One beautiful addition I’ve made this year was inspired by Mel Robbins who also does this practice: before answering anything, I scroll through the photos on my phone.
Not to organize or delete.
Just to remember.
The moments I forgot.
The feelings that resurface.
The versions of me that showed up—strong, tender, joyful, exhausted, brave.
Then I sit with these six questions:
What were your low points of the year?
(Without judgment—only truth.)
What were your high points?
(Even the quiet wins count.)
What did you learn this year?
(About yourself, your patterns, your growth.)
What are you going to stop doing?
(What no longer feels aligned or nourishing.)
What are you going to continue doing?
(What supported you and helped you expand.)
What are you going to start doing?
(This is where intention becomes powerful.)
What I love about this practice is that it doesn’t bypass the year.
It integrates it.
And when we take time to fully acknowledge where we’ve been, we create space to move forward with clarity, alignment, and self-trust.
If you’re feeling called to go deeper—to not only reflect, but release, realign, and consciously step into your next chapter—this is the exact energy we bring into Awaken & Align.
✨ Letting go of what you’re done carrying
✨ Reconnecting with your truth
✨ Aligning your intentions with who you are becoming
✨ Stepping into the next season grounded and empowered
If your heart is whispering “it’s time”, we would love to walk with you.
With so much love and trust in your unfolding,
Jessica
P.S. If you try this reflection, slow it down. Light a candle. Breathe. Let the answers arrive gently. The most powerful clarity never rushes. 💫
